Virginia Mother Warns Of Inappropriate Truck Driver After He Pulls Her Over On Highway

A mother in Virginia is warning other drivers in the area south of Richmond to be on the lookout after a trucker made her pull over along I-95 just to make inappropriate advances towards her.

According to the woman, the incident occurred on July 29 around 7 p.m., just after she was getting onto I-95 south in Petersburg, Virginia, while driving her son home from karate class. She reportedly hit debris on the road, and a semitrailer immediately pulled up behind her and began flashing its headlights.

The woman says she then pulled off at an exit, assuming the truck driver was alerting her to something wrong with her car. The trucker pulled over behind her, approached her car and proceeded to open the front passenger door, reports WTVR.

“Do I have a flat tire?” the woman asked.

“No, I just wanted to check you out,” the man allegedly replied.

The woman quickly drove away, but not before writing down the man’s license plate and calling state police. A description of the semitrailer was subsequently given to law enforcement, and an investigation is underway.

The incident with the truck driver comes following an incident in Fargo, North Dakota, involving a truck driver from Washington who was arrested for an alleged bomb threat, reports KFGO.
