The priceless moment a 4-year-old Georgia boy was welcomed back by his loving classmates after being out sick for a week with a stomach flu will bring a smile to your face.
Comedian Shawn Harris, of Duluth, Georgia, recorded a video of his son Tyler returning to school with cheers and hugs from the students as he walks into the classroom.
Harris was very happy with what he saw that he shared two videos on Facebook, writing: "These little clips may change the way we think about each other as adults," and, "I love this, #Proudfather. Kids can end racism.”
Harris sees this heartwarming scene as evidence that "racism is taught.”
In the clip, a teacher is heard saying, “Everyone, Tyler’s back.”
Tyler’s fellow classmates then start chanting his name before one girl runs up to give him a heartfelt hug.
“Tyler! I like your haircut!” she exclaims as she rubs his head.
One of the videos was also uploaded to YouTube on June 25 and it has since gone viral, garnering nearly 300,000 views as of this writing. It has received more than 20,000 likes and 100,000 shares on Facebook.
