| by Emily Smith

Award winning cinematographer and founder of UltraSlo Epic Slow Motion Alan Teitel recently filmed a match burning in slow motion – a video that has already accumulated over 800,000 views.

The video demonstrates what a burning match looks like when it’s filmed at 4,000 frames per second.

The shot is also extremely tight, with 2,000 watts of light within 4 inches of the match with mirror and reflectors.

The appearance of the match so close seems foreign, and some have described it as “fleshy” looking.
