Uganda Wildlife Authority officials captured a massive 2,000-pound crocodile recently. Local residents called for the crocodile's capture after it allegedly ate several fishermen working in nearby Lake Victoria.

The enormous reptile is estimated to be about 80 years old. UWA officials hunted the crocodile for over four days before catching it. The animal will be transported to Murchison Falls National Park in Lolim, Uganda.

The Ugandan newspaper New Vision reports the crocodile killed people from at least five neighboring towns prior to being captured.
