Two Afghan men living in Germany were arrested after reportedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy at a public swimming pool on April 1.
The boy was at the pool with an 11-year-old friend, when the two were approached by two Afghan migrants, according to the Daily Mail. The men allegedly then followed the two boys to the showers.
The men, ages 20 and 25, are said to have trapped the 14-year-old in the pool's showers and forced him to perform sexual acts on both of them in the changing room. The 11-year-old hid while this was occurring, police report.
The men were arrested after lifeguards were notified, and were detained after going before a Paderborn judge on April 2.
This attack is one of several that has taken place in Germany recently. In neighboring Austria, an asylum-seeker from Iraq is awaiting trial for the rape of young boy in a swimming pool changing room.
Germany has spent much money on posters targeted at asylum-seekers and migrants, promoting correct behavior toward women. Public swimming pools have become a focal point of the government's initiative to educate new arrivals on how to respect women and girls, reports The Telegraph.
