Video: Police Officer Christopher Geraci Fired for Assaulting Driver Abbi Bonds During Arrest

| by Michael Allen

Florida police officer Christopher Geraci was fired for using "unreasonable force" and arrested for assault after a dashboard camera, inside his police car, recorded him roughing up Abbi Bonds, reports the Daily Mail.

Bonds was pulled over on suspicion of being a driver in a hit-and-run car accident on August 2. After being pulled over, Bonds was shoved and had her hair pulled by Officer Geraci (video below).

Bonds then fell, banging her face against the car. On the video, she said "I'm not fighting you. Why are you hitting me?"

Later, Bonds failed a sobriety test and was charged with a DUI as well as leaving the scene of an accident.

Bonds told ABC News: "He just totally lost control as a police officer and beat the crap out of me using way beyond excessive force on a female."

Bonds' injuries include a swollen knee, jaw pain and a concussion.
