Video: Motorcyclist Brandon Wright Thanks Rescuers For Lifting Burning Car Off Him

| by Michael Allen

Brandon Wright, the motorcyclist who was rescued from beneath a burning wreck earlier this week, issued a "thank you" to the people who lifted a car and pulled his unconscious body to safety after his motorcycle crash in Logan, Utah (video below).

From his hospital bed, Wright fought back tears as he thanked the “heroes who put their lives on the line” to lift the vehicle he was trapped under.

In the accident, his motorcycle plowed into the car’s front end and caught fire. The car itself smoldered and burned as the crowd of onlookers charged in to lift it.

Wright says that he regrets his decision not to wear a helmet and says that he now intends to be a helmet advocate for motorcycle riders.
