Video: Arizona Governor Jan Brewer Compares Undocumented Immigrants to Drunk Drivers

| by Michael Allen

Earlier this year, President Obama issued an executive order allowing undocumented immigrants, who were brought to the U.S. before the age of 16, younger than the age of 31, and have been here at least five years, to temporarily remain in America.

In response, California passed a law to give illegal immigrants driver's licenses, and Illinois may do the same.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R) appeared on Fox News yesterday to voice her opposition to giving driver licenses to the eligible undocumented immigrants, whom she compared to drunk drivers and kids under 16, reports ThinkProgress.org (video below).

Brewer said: "The state is the one who licenses the people to be able to drive, it’s not the federal government. And we don’t license kids under 16. We don’t license DUI drivers. And our laws are very clear and I took an oath to uphold that."
