Lawrence G. Mahar of Seward Street and James J. Argus of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., had an interesting run-in with the cops this morning.

Reportedly, at 7:57 a.m., Argus backed his car into a pillar in a Price Checker parking lot. Police say that after the incident, they saw Argus switch seats with Maher, who was pulled over only minutes later for failing to signal before taking a turn.

One minor detail was missed, though: both of the men were drunk. The two were arrested by police at about eight o’clock this morning.

Both men were charged with DWIs, and Argus was also arrested with “disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for allegedly fighting with cops at the scene,” writes Times Union.

The Saratogian reports that there were no injuries as a result of the minor crash.
