Scott Simon was arrested in Oakland Park, Florida on Tuesday for allegedly planning the murder of Nicholas Walker, who was shot on May 5 while driving on I-95 (video below).
Simon accidentally dialed 911 on his cell phone with his rear end, according to police.
After calling 911, Simon was recorded telling an unidentified person that he was going to follow Walker home and kill him, reports CBS Miami.
Simon was charged with first-degree murder, but the Broward Sheriff’s Office doesn't believe he was the person who actually fired the gun.
Simon allegedly planned the shooting after an argument with Walker at a Waffle House.
Broward Sheriff’s Deputies found Walker’s car crashed into a guard rail and Walker dead from bullet wounds.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help in identifying two other suspects, who were driving a black 2012 Buick GS on the night of the murder.
