A new TV series on the History Channel called "God, Guns & Automobiles" will feature Chicago radio host, Erich "Mancow" Muller, and his brother, Mark Muller, running Max Motors, a car dealership located in Butler, Mo.

According to a History Channel press release: "Mark Muller lives by three rules: Do the Right Thing, Let’s Make a Deal, and Live Every Day Like it’s Your Last. He’s been known to blow up cars and stage a fake UFO landing to drive sales ... but he’s just as likely to cut a break for a cash-poor farmer in need of a car."

However, the press release failed to mention that Mark Muller has also given away guns, including AK-47 assault weapons, with the purchase of certain vehicles. He has placed ads on promoting these giveaways.

Mark Muller told Human Events in 2011 that one of his AK-47 giveaways was criticized by the ATF, banks and General Motors.

In 2008, Erich "Mancow" Muller plugged his brother's gun promotion on, with a scary warning: "You'll need a gun to protect yourself from the violent masses during the coming depression."

However, after filming for the TV series began, appeared to shift gears and had its "1st Annual Great Gun Buyback" in April. The company offered offered to pay $50 to $10,000 for firearms from the public.
