A high speed car chase on a Los Angeles freeway ended dramatically when a suspected drunk driver lost control of his car and smashed into a guard rail, creating an explosion (video below).
According to KTLA-TV, the driver was in a Ford Mustang going 110 miles per hour and above.
To avoid traffic accidents, Los Angeles police no longer pursue vehicles beyond a certain speed, but fall back into 'surveillance mode,' which they did in this case.
When approaching another car, the driver spun out of control and slammed into the guard rail on the highway. His car exploded, then came to rest, still burning. The driver was reportedly rescued by police.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
