New York City workers recently ticketed and towed cars that were legally parked next to Clement Park to make way for some new bike-sharing stations, which will hold 31 bikes (video below).
However, car owners were given no warning prior to the sudden enforcement.

In addition to towing, car owners got hit with tickets that fined them $65 or more, reports My Fox New York.
Apparently, the bike-sharing stations were originally placed on the other side of West 22nd Street, but owners and residents of brownstones complained, spurring the move.
My Fox New York contacted New York City's Department of Transportation, which said it would help car owners contest their tickets.
