A ten-year-old boy drove his parents’ car into a ditch this morning in Oslo, Norway, but claimed he was a dwarf who had forgotten his driver's license.
The boy put his 18-month old sister into the car and headed for their grandparents' home about 37 miles away, but crashed soon after starting his journey.
A snowplow driver found the boy and called the police.
“The boy told the snowplow driver that he was a dwarf and that he had forgotten his driver’s license at home,” Vest Oppland police spokesman Baard Christiansen told Reuters.
“The parents woke up and discovered that the children were missing and that someone had taken off with their car," added Christiansen. "They were pretty upset, as you can imagine.”
The children were not injured and the car was not damaged, so police did not file any charges against the boy, noted CrimeLibrary.com.
