| by Michael Allen

Two unidentified men reportedly jumped a male victim at a gas station in Houston and stole his Chevrolet pickup truck on Sept. 26.

During the alleged carjacking, another unidentified man fired his gun at the suspects but accidentally hit the victim, KHOU reported.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, but the witness who accidentally shot him picked up the shell casings from his gun and fled the scene, according to police.

Officers found the stolen pickup truck about a mile away. The vehicle had blood inside, but it's not clear who it belongs to, reports ABC 13.
