Tennis player Rafael Nadal touched hearts worldwide when he literally halted a match to help a mother and her little girl (video below).
Nadal, 30, was preparing to take a serve during a doubles match against John McEnroe and Carlos Moya in Mallorca, Spain, when he was distracted, the Independent reports.
For Nadal, this wasn't just any match. It was a game Nadal was playing to celebrate the opening of his new sports center in his home town of Mallorca.
But all thoughts of success and awards flew out of the man's mind the moment he heard a woman screaming "Clara."

The camera follows his gaze, revealing Nadal staring up at an audience member: A concerned mother looking for her lost child.
Nadal refused to keep playing until the mother found her daughter, causing the audience to burst into applause when the reunion finally occurred.

A smiling Nadal then continued playing the game. Despite the interruption, Nadal still ended up winning.
The gesture drew praise from many on social media.
"It was the only thing to do," wrote one user on LittleThings.com's Facebook page. "[There] is nothing more frightening for a parent than to lose their child in a crowd and it happens so easily. The match could always be replayed or restarted when necessary. It's only a game and Rafael realised that. It makes him a good person."
"Am surprised he noticed," another user added. "Usually players are so zeroed in on what they are doing that they can't see anything around them! You go man! You did a great job! That must have been a terrifying experience for mother and daughter and am happy for the beautiful reunion!"
While many applauded the tennis player for his act, some were critical of the mother, the Daily Mail reports.
"Why [was] this mum so careless in the first place, not to keep an eye on her daughter, especially in crowded places," wrote one user. "Luckily, she was found and [I] hope this will be a learning lesson for her."
