See How TD Bank Thanks Its Loyal Customers (Video)

| by Dominic Kelly

Over 30,000 TD Bank customers were thanked by the bank for their loyalty, and the reactions were caught on camera.

At 2 p.m. on July 25, TD Bank simultaneously distributed $20 to every customer, either through an ATM transaction or through direct deposit. Some very special customers, however, got more than $20, and as the amazing new video shows, their reactions were priceless.

In the video published by TD Bank, some select customers received huge gifts from the bank. An elderly lady, whose daughter was battling cancer in Trinidad, was given a free trip to Trinidad so that she could visit her sick daughter. Another woman was given piggy banks for her two daughters, each with $1,000 to be used for their education, as well as a trip to Disney World for the whole family.

"A thank you can change someone's day, so that's why we have been surprising our customers across Canada, to say 'TD Thanks You,'" said Tim Hockey, President and CEO of TD Canada Trust. "We know Canadians have a lot of choice when it comes to where they bank, and we wanted to say that we appreciate that they continue to choose TD."

Another TD customer named Mike Jobin, a massive Blue Jays fan, got the surprise of a lifetime when he received Blue Jays apparel and the chance to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming game.

"I can't believe TD did this - it's something that I'll never forget," Jobi saidn. "We're a real baseball family and making the first pitch at a Blue Jays game was at the top of my bucket list. Let's just say that I had goosebumps the whole time!"
