Deepak Saini shared a post on the Love What Matters Facebook page of an incident he witnessed at a Target in Kenner, Louisiana.
Saini explained that while getting ready to leave the Target, it began to rain heavily. Some people decided to wait for the rain to calm down before making the walk out to their cars, but others decided to go out in the rain anyway.
"There were quite a few people waiting out the storm. Then I noticed a kind gentleman who turn by turn, escorted women, mothers and their kids, to their cars under the shelter of his umbrella," he wrote in the post. "I'm sure he was busy and had his own family to return to. But in that moment, it didn't matter that he was black and the woman in this picture was white. It was one human being helping another."
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
Saini said that at a time when we "seem so focused on race and are letting ourselves be painfully divided," it's important to acknowledge the positivity.
"Kindness is something we all need to give to each other right now and let this man be an example," Saini concluded.
