Barry Williams, 60, the actor mostly known for his portrayal of Greg Brady on the 1970s sitcom, “The Brady Bunch,” has reportedly abandoned his 3-year-old daughter and left his ex-girlfriend of seven years nearly homeless and penniless.
Inside Edition broke the story in an interview with Williams’ ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Kennedy, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter.
"He allowed us to be evicted two weeks before Christmas," said Kennedy.
According to Kennedy, Williams abandoned his daughter after he moved to the Ozarks to “jump start” his new career working in Branson, Missouri, performing at timeshare presentations while also filming his new reality show, “A Very Barry Branson.”
Jim Moret of Inside Edition asked Kennedy how much Williams saw his daughter in 2014 and her response is shocking.
"A total of eight hours," Kennedy said.
Court papers were filed by Williams that stated Kennedy got pregnant on purpose when he refused to marry her.
Williams referred to Kennedy as “nothing more than a sexual companion,” and, in a recent interview with the Huffington Post, said, “I did some rebounding and I had my playmate.”
Kennedy’s claims have been referred to by Williams as “the rants of a scorned woman.”
"When you hear, 'nothing more than a sexual companion,' 'a scorned woman,' 'a playmate,' how does that make you feel?" Moret asked Kennedy.
"It's the most hurtful thing that anybody's ever done," Kennedy replied.
In court documents, Kennedy states that Williams is a multi-millionaire who shares a trust fund worth $11.6 million.
Kennedy thinks Williams should be “ashamed of himself” for his behavior.
A source close to Williams said Kennedy’s claims are “nonsense,” and that she refuses to let him see his daughter.
