A sports reporter who worked on Fox Sports programs in Tampa Bay, Florida, has been let go after making racist comments during an online broadcast.

Emily Austen appeared on a Facebook live stream conducted by Barstool Sports on June 9 when she allegedly made the racist comments, VICE Sports reports.

Austen made a number of offensive comments during the program, including describing Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Love as a “little b---h.”

She later backtracked, saying, “I’m not saying he’s a little b----h because he didn’t play because he had a concussion–because he can’t play,” according to Vice Sports.

When the discussion turned to a high school student who used her valedictory speech to tell her classmates she was an undocumented immigrant, Austen intervened.

“I didn’t even know that Mexicans were that smart,” she said.

Shortly afterwards, she suggested the “Chinese guy is always the smartest guy in math class.”

The host of the show then encouraged her by asking if she thought Jews were stingy.

“Yeah, I went to school in Boca, so I know most of that—the way I used to talk to Jews in Boca, they hated—because I was a server, and I just didn’t care and they would complain and bitch about everything,” Austen said.

“I gave a guy a beer, and he was complaining to me that there was too much head and I knew that he was a stingy a-----e, and that he wasn’t going to give me a tip, so I go, ‘So you’re the first guy that’s ever complained to me about too much head’,” she added.

The video disappeared from Barstool’s Facebook page, but was later shared to other sites by several users.

“We were made aware that Emily Austen appeared in a social media video unaffiliated with FOX Sports in which she made insensitive and derogatory comments," Fox Sports Florida senior vice president Steve Tello said, according to the Tampa Bay Times. "She was not speaking on behalf of FOX Sports, nor do we condone any of the statements she made in the video. Emily has been advised that her comments were unacceptable, and she is not scheduled to appear on any upcoming FOX Sports Florida or FOX Sports Sun broadcasts."

Austen used to report on Orlando Magic NBA games and Tampa Bay Rays MLB contests.

“The Rays fully support Fox Sport Sun's decision regarding Emily Austen,” a statement from the team read.
