A woman in Northern Spain died Thursday while trying to park a van outside her home in Oviedo.
The incident occurred when Ana Maria Prieto, 47, pulled up to her home and, along with her three children, proceeded out of the vehicle.
The car then began to roll, and that's when Prieto realized she had forgotten to engage the parking brake.
She chased after the van attempted to stop it; unfortunately it jumped a wall and crushed her beneath the chassis.
When rescue workers arrived there was nothing they could do to help Prieto.
She was a popular woman in the community, according to the local daily La Nueva España.
Shocked neighbors and her husband, who was in the house at the time of the accident, are caring for the children.
