Meteor Falls in Argentina, Turns Night Into Day (Video)

A meteor fell on Sunday night, briefly turning night to day as an amateur video (below) captured the amazing moment, noted WTKR.com.

The meteor was a real treat for concert attendees in Salta, Argentina, who were watching the folk music band Los Tekis perform outdoors, reports USA Today.

"This object disintegrated at an altitude high enough to be seen for hundreds of miles," Jorge Coghlan, director of the Astronomical Observatory of Santa Fe, told the Spanish newspaper La Gaceta, reported NBCNews.com.

Coghlan added that it may have been a space rock, 8 inches in diameter, that entered the atmosphere at a fast speed.
