Brazilian police are claiming that Ryan Lochte and three other swimmers lied about being robbed at gunpoint to cover up a brawl they had with a gas station security guard.

The New York Post reports that Brazilian authorities have obtained video of Lochte and compatriots Jimmy Feigen, Jack Conger, and Gunnar Bentz fighting with a guard at a gas station.

ABC News reports that in the video, at least one of the swimmers can be seen fighting with a security guard, and another of the swimmers can be seen breaking down a bathroom door.  When questioned, the swimmers were allegedly so drunk, they could produce very few details about the incident.

Two of the swimmers -- Conger and Bentz -- were on a plane ready to leave Rio when the plane was grounded and they were detained to answer questions about the incident. Feigen didn't show up for his flight.

Meanwhile, Lochte, the most famous swimmer involved in the incident, is safely back home in California.

The U.S. State Department is urging all swimmers to cooperate with Brazilian authorities.
