Kardashian family biographer Ian Halperin has claimed Caitlyn Jenner has been "miserable" since her transition and is considering de-transitioning back to a man "in the next couple years."

Halperin said several sources close to the star had indicated Jenner is unhappy while he was doing research for his book "Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America's Royal Family," Fox News reports.

"One source confirmed to me Caitlyn has made whispers of 'sex change regret,' hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner," Halperin told The Wrap.

Jenner is allegedly interested in transitioning back for relationship reasons, according to Halperin.

A police officer saw a young black couple drive by and pulled them over. What he did next left them stunned:

"She’s still into women and wants to meet the right one," he said.

He also said that the transition has been difficult for Jenner.

"She’s thrilled she has raised awareness about how transgender people have long been discriminated against but I think there’s a chance she’ll de-transition in the next couple years.

"I don’t think it would surprise anybody in her inner circle. It has been much harder than she anticipated. My heart goes out to her and I know her true friends will be there to support her on whatever path she chooses."

A representative for Jenner told the New York Daily News that Halperin's claims were completely false.

"Not worth commenting on such an idiotic report," she said. "Of course it's not true."

Jenner revealed in a 2015 interview with Vanity Fair that she initially was apprehensive about the change during the first day of recovery following the procedure.
