According to CBS 6 Albany, there is a sign at the dunk tank warns people that the clown would be insulting people as part of his shtick.

The Delta Fair reportedly fired the clown and refunded Jones and her family their admission tickets, which cost more than $100.

"We try to promote the Delta Fair as clean, safe and family friendly," Mark Lovell, president of the Delta Fair, told WMC Action News 5. "We try to keep the comments fun without sexual and racial connotations."
