Portland Police Arrest Naked Violin Player Outside Courthouse

Portland police arrested a 25-year-old man who was allegedly playing violin naked outside of a courthouse.

According to reports, Matthew T. Mglej was warned by officers multiple times that he needed to cover up, but when he refused they told him he was under arrest. Mglej wouldn’t move, however, so the officers were forced to pick him up and carry him to the police car.

Mglej made his naked display during Portland’s World Naked Bike Ride. The event allows people to ride their bikes naked along a designated route, but Mglej ignored the requirement and instead planted himself outside of the courthouse.

Mglej was arrested and charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure. He was booked at Multnomah County Jail, but reports say he has since been released.
