'The Children Burst Into My Office In Hysterics': Teacher Strangles Epileptic 12-Year-Old In Class

| by Dominic Kelly

A Polish teacher has been suspended after reportedly strangling an epileptic student when he wouldn’t be quiet.

According to reports, a 12-year-old boy named Kuba was sitting in class when his teacher, 48-year-old Jadwiga Piotrowska, approached and began to strangle him.

“At first we didn't know what was going on and thought it was some sort of joke,” a classmate said, according to the Daily Mail. “But she began to shake him and tighten her grip. Other children began crying and we begged her to let go of him.”

The terrifying moment, which was captured in a photo by a peer, shows how enraged the music teacher became when the epileptic boy interrupted her lesson, and out of fear for his life, some of the students ran down the hall to the head teacher’s officer to get help.

“The children burst into my office in hysterics,” head teacher Czeslaw Sieczka, 55, revealed. “Fortunately the classroom is right next door to my office so I managed to get there quickly and pull her off. She was very excited emotionally, and she laughed and cried alternately. She said she was trying to cure him. It's the first time I've seen something like this. I can't understand what got into her.”

So far, criminal charges have not been pursued, but Piotrowska has been suspended and is currently undergoing psychological evaluation. Reports say that her husband recently lost re-election as the town’s mayor.

“She is a respected teacher with over 20 years experience,” Sieczka said. “I can only speculate that she had a breakdown after her husband lost his position as mayor in the recent elections.”

The condition of the 12-year-old boy is not known, although reports say that he lives at a local orphanage.
