Ramando Givens, 25, of West Palm Beach was arrested after authorities found his wallet inside a stolen vehicle.

An officer had seen a surveillance video of a Hyundai dealership on May 30. In the video, the officer could see an employee parking lot and a man walking up to the passenger side of a red, 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, according to the West Palm Beach police arrest report.

The video does not show the man entering the car, but he was the only person seen inside the parking lot before the car was seen speeding away from the scene, reports Sun-Sentinel.

Officers were led to the SUV by a GPS tracking system. They had contacted the GPS company which tracked the location of the vehicle, reports Palm Beach Post. When they got to it, the driver was gone. What police found were the man’s fingerprints and black wallet sitting on the driver’s seat. In it, police found Givens' driver’s license and Social Security card.

The car has been returned to its original owner and Givens was arrested.

Givens faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied structure and grand theft auto. He is being held on $8,000 bail at Palm Beach County Jail where he was booked.

Givens had previously been arrested for burglary of a dwelling, leaving the scene of a crash with injuries, and resisting an officer, according to Palm Beach County records.
