Socialite and reality television star Paris Hilton says she voted for Donald Trump on Election Day.
Hilton, who had previously refused to declare who she was voting for, revealed who she cast a ballot for on an Australian TV show on Nov. 17.
She did not delve into the political reasons as to why she voted for the Republican candidate, but said, "I've known him since I'm a little girl, so, yes."
And the admiration seems to be mutual. In an interview with Howard Stern, Trump talked about how attractive Hilton was when he first met her at the tender age of 12, reports USA Today.

"Somebody who a lot of people don’t give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful — really beautiful, is Paris Hilton,” said Trump. “I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’”
“Did you wanna bang her?” Stern asked.
“Well, at 12, I wasn’t interested,” Trump said, “I’ve never been into that, I sort of always stuck around that 25 category. I saw her at 12 she was beautiful.”
Trump wrote a blurb in the back of Hilton’s 2004 book, "Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose," talking about her family’s long relationship with him.

"I have known Paris Hilton for much of her young life and have always recognized her as a great beauty. What people don't know is that she is a great beauty on the inside as well," Trump said.
Hilton responded with, "It's pretty amazing. I've known him my entire life and he's always been incredibly supportive of me, so I'm very proud to have that on my book.”
According to Variety, when asked by a TMZ reporter why she didn’t talk about her preferred candidate earlier, Hilton said, “My mother told me to never talk about politics or money.”
