A group of paranormal investigators claims to have captured ghostly figures on camera in one of North West England’s haunted buildings.
The group caught the apparitions on camera during a guided tour of Stanley Palace in Chester, the Daily Mail reports.
Sefton Paranormal Investigations had been investigating the 16th century Grade Two building on June 28, when the team noticed the activity as they reviewed the footage.
The ghost hunters say the video shows ghosts of three children appearing out of nowhere on a staircase behind two members of the group.
“There are clearly three figures, which I think are most likely children, on the staircase behind Jo and Aaron,” co-founder Pamela Robinette, 44, said. “If you look closely you can see her facial features as she turns her head, and her hair looks liked its rolled.”
Aaron Robinette and Joanne May were unaware that anything had happened behind them until they watched back the footage.
Co-founder Aaron told the Chester Chronicle: “We were informed by the curator that there was a staircase with a door underneath it, where a man died. “In the video, I’m sat on a chair and Joe is sat on the staircase, and we’re calling out to spirits. Nothing happened, but it was only when watching the video back that I saw it. It appears and disappears in shot, all in front of the camera.”
