Malia Obama has gotten a taste of the celebrity life now that her father is no longer the president of the United States.
MTO News reports that Malia was spotted by paparazzi as she sauntered into the Weinstein Company’s headquarters in downtown Manhattan, where the 18-year-old is beginning a year-long internship, ostensibly in an effort to gain experience in the film industry.
Malia was photographed by the paparazzi while entering the building, wearing a purple hoodie, which she wore pulled over her head, and a short black skirt.
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
Malia can be seen in the photos attempting to cover her face as she moves past the photographers.
This is not the first time Malia has had to deal with this type of celebrity treatment. As The Urban Daily reports, three years ago, she dined at Gjelina, a famous Los Angeles restaurant that is often frequented by celebrities and the paparazzi who film them. Malia was photographed by several of the cameramen while exiting.
At the time, First Lady Michelle Obama contacted the agencies who distribute such photos and ordered them not to make the images public, and they reportedly promptly complied. However, given that these photos have already circulated, it seems the Obamas don’t have the same pull with the paparazzi as they once did.
It looks like Malia could be the next big thing, as far as the paparazzi is concerned.
