Oscar Pizza Delivery Guy Opens His Own Restaurant

| by Sarah Fruchtnicht

A pizza delivery guy made famous when he brought pizzas to celebrities during the Academy Awards is now opening a pizzeria in Hollywood.

Edgar Martirosyan later appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show to discuss the “delivery of a lifetime,” which left him with a $1,000 tip. He also appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan Live.

Martirosyan and his brother Erik will sell traditional Neapolitan pizza at their new restaurant “Wood” on Sunset Boulevard next month. Some of their ingredients will be imported from Italy and others will be locally sourced, Mashable reported.

Edgar and Erik’s other restaurant, Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria was responsible for the Oscar-night pies
