Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been desecrated by a man who is offended by Trump's candidacy for president (video below).
The act of vandalism was caught on camera and uploaded to YouTube by Storyful News.
In the video, a few people stand around watching while a man dressed as a construction worker smashes the star with a large pickaxe.
A reporter steps forward and asks him what he's doing.

"My name is James Otis," the man says as he tries to catch his breath. "I have four or five family members who were sexually assaulted, and I am very upset that we have a presidential nominee who is the poster child for sexual violence."
He then says he plans to sell the broken pieces of Trump's Walk of Fame star to help raise money for women who have been the victims of sexual assault.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 26, according to KTLA. When law enforcement officers arrived on the scene around 6 a.m., Otis was already gone. An investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department is now underway.
The star was dedicated to Trump in 2007 in honor of his work on NBC's "The Apprentice."
