NYPD officer Joel Edouard may be charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly stomping on the head of a handcuffed suspect, Jahmiel Cuffee, on July 23, 2014.
The New York Daily News cited several unidentified sources who claimed the misdemeanor charge was forthcoming.

In a cell phone video (below) filmed by a witness, Officer Edouardappears to kick Cuffee in the head, causing outrage from a crowd watching the incident.
NYPD officers originally claimed that Cuffee tossed away a joint, but no evidence of marijuana was recovered.
According to Newsone.com, Cuffee was charged with attempted tampering with evidence, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, however, those charges were dismissed in December 2014.
