Prince's Emergency Landing Call Released (Audio)

| by Brendan Kelly

Just six days before Prince's tragic death on April 21, his plane made an emergency landing after he reportedly overdosed on Percocet. Now, a recording of the pilot's conversation with air control has been obtained by TMZ (audio below).

In audio of the call, the pilot informs air control that he will be landing at Quad City Airport in Moline, Illinois, in order to get medical attention for his passenger.

The air traffic controller called for paramedics to be ready for the plane's arrival.

Prince reportedly overdosed on Percocet on his plane on the way back to his home in Minneapolis after what would be his final show in Atlanta, TMZ reports. Responders used a "save drug" on Prince at the airport once the plane landed.

In the call, the controller asks the pilot if the passenger is male or female, which implies that the pilot did not disclose the identity of the passenger.
