New Zombie Attack in Florida: Charles Baker Bites Chunk of Flesh Out of Man's Arm

| by Alex Groberman

A man from Manatee County, Fla. allegedly bit off a piece of someone’s arm in the third known "zombie” attack of June.

Charles Baker, 26, was arrested on Wednesday after he went full-on cannibal in a rage-fueled, extremely violent altercation at his girlfriend's house. According to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report, Baker arrived at the home in question around 10:15 p.m. to visit his kids. He was apparently high on unknown substances at the time, and quickly became infuriated for reasons unknown.

While shouting and screaming at everyone in his general proximity, Baker also began to remove his clothing and simultaneously wreck havoc on various pieces of furniture that had the misfortune of being in his line of sight.

Jeffrey Blake, another resident of the house that Baker was terrorizing, attempted to restrain him; unfortunately, Baker wound up biting off a bit of Blake’s bicep in the struggle.

Ultimately, Blake was able to get Baker to the ground keep from causing any more trouble until the police arrived. He eventually released the 26-year-old into their custody, but not before Baker attempted to make a naked rush at the deputies present.

In the end, the cops had to use an “electronic device” on Baker after he ignored repeated verbal warnings to stop yelling, tensing his body, clenching his fists and making threatening motions. Because the “electronic device” didn’t fully take Baker down initially, cops had to deploy a second cartridge into him.

Once he was on the floor, Baker was cuffed and taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for evaluation before being shipped off to jail.
