A UFO dubbed “WTF” burned up in Earth’s atmosphere on November 13, though scientists have not been able to identify what it was.

The piece of space junk — called WT1190F — crashed into Earth just after 6 a.m. over the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

It was first spotted in 2013, and is 3ft and 6.5ft in diameter.

“[It could be] a lost piece of space history that’s come back to haunt us,” astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell said.

It is believed that the mystery object could have been debris from an Apollo rocket, though conspiracy theorists have speculated that it was alien-related.
