On Sunday, the mother heard noises coming from her son’s room during his nap. At first she thought it was a group of people outside being loud, but a few hours later she heard it again and went to look at the monitor.

When she walked into the room, the mother heard another woman’s voice saying, “Oh, watch this one, she’s coming in again.”

As with most Internet-capable devices, it’s recommended to use a strong password and change it frequently to protect one’s privacy.

According to experts, baby monitor hacking is a growing crime. In fact, in early April, a Minnesota family discovered their device was hacked and that images of their baby had been posted online.
