Lakeland, FL woman Vivian Lee Vosburg, 30, the mother of a girl charged with bullying a 12-year-old girl that ultimately committed suicide, has been charged with an unrelated crime.
Vosburg was taken to Polk County Jail and “held without bond on two counts of child abuse with bodily harm and four counts of child neglect."
Vosburg was allegedly arrested after a video surfaced on Facebook of the woman punching and yelling at two 12-year-old boys that were engaged in a fight. According to the sheriff’s office, Vosburg has “access” to all of the children seen in the video.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd claimed that the video’s posting to Facebook indicated that Vosburg’s child abuse is a repeated activity. “This clearly indicates to use that this appears to be a normal way of life. They’re laughing and cussing and throwing the F-bomb around, then they’re posting that conduct for all to see,” Judd said.

Vosburg’s daughter and another young girl are both being charged with third-degree felony stalking after 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick committed suicide due to bullying and cyber-bullying.
Judd commented on the connection between the two cases, saying “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
Vosburg’s court hearings are scheduled to begin this weekend.
