Police officers fist pump and imitate a man they had allegedly beaten earlier at a traffic stop in footage obtained by a Detroit television station.

The Inkster, Michigan, officers appear to be wiping off their hands and uniforms in the video (shown below). The officers were reportedly wiping off blood from Floyd Dent, the man they had arrested, according to Dent’s lawyer Greg Rohl. Dent was just feet away while the video was being filmed and in need of medical attention.

At one point in the video, one of the officers even sprawls out on a bench and flails his arms in imitation of Dent.

The video, now viral, wasn’t initially brought to the attention of the courts. After seeing the video, however, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy dropped the charges against Dent and instead pressed charges against one of the officers who allegedly choked and punched Dent.

The chief of police in Inkster reportedly resigned following the incident and seeing the officers on tape. The station is reportedly being investigated.

To date, the video has been viewed over 10,000 times.
