During a recent interview with HuffPost Live, Hustler magazine founder and publisher Larry Flynt claimed that he has "never met a Republican that wasn’t mean spirited and in his heart a racist" (video below).

Flynt said that was his response to people who ask “why I’m always knocking Republicans.”

However, Hustler has skewered Democrats as well, especially Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for supporting the Iraq War and her husband's financial interest in the defense contracting industry.

“I’ve been around for a long time. I’ve never met a Republican that wasn’t mean spirited and in his heart a racist. I never met one that wasn’t,” claimed Flynt. “Now, I’m sure there are probably some that are not, but I’m just telling you what my experience has been and my exposure to conservative Republicans. They’re a nightmare.”

When asked about equal pay for women, Flynt told HuffPost Live: "I think that's the biggest travesty that exists in our country. Women can actually work alongside men, doing the same job, and get paid twenty-five percent less."

Flynt did have some kind words for Republicans, sort of.

"With Republicans, you always know where they stand. You can never accuse a Republican of not having a spine, they've got one... Democrats want to be all things to all people," added Flynt.
