Malaysia Airlines flight 370 has absolutely no connection to the Benghazi terrorist attack on an U.S. consulate in 2012; however, Fox News is desperately trying to link the two.
After reporting on the family members of passengers aboard the missing plane, Fox News' “The Five” co-host Andrea Tantaros performed mental gymnastics to link it to the often-debunked Benghazi conspiracy.
"Living in Malaysia, the government seemingly ignored these people, they didn’t want their stories to get out, they weren’t talking to them,” Tantaros said, noted RawStory.com (video below). “They were saying, ‘No one has come to my house, no one has told me what has happened. [Co-host Bob Beckel], get ready, put these in your ears. Feels like the families of Benghazi, just saying. And we’re better than that.”
Not to be outdone, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly claimed the media was reporting on the missing plane in order to avoid talking about Benghazi, noted MediaMatters.org (video below).
"The Five" co-host Greg Gutfeld actually blamed the U.S. government for the missing plane (video below).

"But America could close this investigation fast if it wanted to, well, as long as the plane's not hidden in Benghazi or the IRS building," claimed Gutfeld.
