A man, aged 41, arranged to meet a 16-year-old girl he met through Facebook for sex, but was robbed by her and her friends instead.

The man's name has not been released, but it is known that he picked the girl up on Thursday afternoon at an apartment in Noblesville, Indiana. She said that they should go to a party with her friends before they have sex.

He drove to an abandoned house in Downtown Indianapolis.

She left the car and told him to wait for her outside. But after she went in, two men came out and started punching and kicking him. They then stole his wallet, keys and cell phone.

The girl and her friend then came out and stole the man's car. They drove to a mall and went on a shopping spree with his credit card.

Three male teens held him against his will for several hours at the abandoned house, one was carrying a gun.

The girls returned with his car, a 2013 Lexus, later that night. They told him to leave.

He obliged and went to his family home in Far-Northside. He told his wife that he was robbed, but it is not clear if he told her that he was meeting a girl for sex.

No one has been arrested for the robbery.

Police are investigating the matter and said the seven suspects are between the ages of 14 and 20 years old.
