New Data Shows Largest Company By Revenue Per State

| by Dominic Kelly

Ever wonder what the largest company is in your state? A new map shows the largest company by revenue in every state, and some of them may surprise you.

The map was created by Mike Simmons of Broadview Networks and was reportedly based off of various pieces of information, including the state where the company’s headquarters resides. Some of the results were obvious, like Wal-Mart raking in $476.3 billion in revenue in Arkansas, General Motors taking in $155.4 billion in Michigan, and Chevron in California.

Others, however, came as a shock to some. Costco took in $105.1 billion in revenue in Washington state, and many people assumed that either Microsoft or Boeing would be the highest grossing company in the state.

Check out the map below to find out which company tops the list in your state.
