Man Sets Up GoPro To Discover How Dog Opens Fridge Door (Video)

| by Emily Smith

YouTuber Adam Montiel was baffled when his 12-year-old Labrador Allie kept sneaking into the fridge and freezer when no one was looking, so he decided to set up a GoPro camera to catch Allie in action.

“We couldn’t figure [it] out,” Montiel said, “so I hooked up a GoPro to find out.”

In the beginning of the video, Montiel can be seen setting up the camera at a high point in his kitchen. When he leaves, Allie gets to work.

The dog starts by digging through the trash, then works her way over to the freezer. After pulling the freezer door open, she pulls out a giant chunk of meat and runs down the hall with it off-screen. She returns multiple times to steal several other pieces of meat from the freezer.

Eventually, Allie uses the freezer door as a kind of step stool and opens the fridge doors, grabbing another treat before disappearing from the camera’s sight.

Montiel finally returns to the kitchen, which Allie has made a mess of.

To date, the video has accumulated almost 400,000 views.
