An unidentified man rushed KTLA reporter Mary Beth McDade while she was doing a live broadcast from Hollywood, California, on Jan. 11 (video below).

While McDade reported about fans gathering at David Bowie's star on the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, a man wearing a gray hoodie came up behind her, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The TV camera quickly panned away while McDade was heard letting out a scream.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Officer Mike Lopez told the newspaper that the man did not touch McDade, but did make a sexual remark.

The incident is not considered "an attack," but rather disturbing the peace, Lopez added.

McDade later tweeted to viewers: "Hi!! Thank you all for your concern!! :) I am alright! And thank u #lapd for taking a report &...," and linked to a picture of herself with police on Instagram.
