Gunpoint Robbery Caught On Cyclist's Helmet Camera During Ride (Video)

Late last month, a cyclist was out for a ride when three men robbed him at gunpoint. Unfortunately for the robbers, they had no idea they were being filmed by the man’s helmet camera the entire time.

Cyclist Malcom Fox, whose YouTube username is "Lucky Jakkals," was riding his bike in the South African mountains when, out of nowhere, three men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, demanded that he give over his possessions.

“MTB ride on Saturday 31st May 2014 from Ongegund, last few km’s before end of session,” wrote Fox on the video’s description. “Armed gunman and 2 others stopped myself and took cellphone, car keys, oakleys and bike.”

Luckily for Fox, his GoPro camera was filming the entire robbery, and now, the cyclist says that the video will serve as evidence when it comes time to prosecute.

“Fortunately they did not have a clue what a GOPRO was and this is the evidence that will assist in their prosecution!” wrote Fox.

Since being posted on YouTube on Monday, the video has already garnered over 1.5 million views. Take a look at the raw video below.
