The brawl began after Beverly Hills High swept JV and varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball games against Santa Monica High.

“It was clear that that first punches that were thrown were thrown by Samohi students, and it was clear that Samohi students out numbered the Beverly students,” Jackson Price, a Beverly Hills High student, told CBS Los Angeles (video below).

In response to the incident, Santa Monica Principal Eva Mayoral issued a statement to parents, “If I do not believe that we can participate at Beverly safely, I will cancel all games."

The fight broke out when players from both teams were walking to a parking garage after the games.

“It escalated extremely quickly,” added Price. “And they followed this kid to his Mercedes. And they proceeded to kick in his headlights and key his car and jump on top of his roof.”

The two teams will meet again this coming week in Beverly Hills, where there will be a police presence, noted Breitbart.com.
