Former U.S. Navy SEAL and “Lone Survivor” author Marcus Luttrell responded viciously on Facebook to Jesse Ventura’s $1.8 million victory against Chris Kyle’s estate with a meme on Tuesday.

The meme features Ventura, the former Minnesota governor, and a caption that reads: “I sue wives of fallen heroes."

Since Wednesday evening, the post has been liked more than 70,000 times and shared over 47,000 times.

Luttrell later uploaded additional memes featuring Ventura.

“I don’t want to formally say anything because I don’t want to get sued, but this about sums it up,” Luttrell wrote of the memes.

Luttrell has since insisted that he no longer respects Ventura, and fellow SEALs have reached out to say the same.

“He left the Brotherhood and became a politician at heart,” one Twitter user wrote. “He’s on his own now.”

Since posting the original meme, hundreds of Facebook users have joined in to shame Ventura using the same tactic.

Ventura filed a lawsuit against Kyle for defamation and continued to pursue personal justice even after Kyle’s death. He has been strongly criticized for not ending the lawsuit out of respect for Kyle’s widow and children.
