A North Carolina woman is suspected of killing her husband and another couple after catching the three of them in bed together on Feb. 29.

A 911 call indicates that a relative of the suspect -- who identified himself as her brother-in-law -- said Crystal Gambino, 42, told her family that she killed her husband, Giovanni Gambino, 40, and two other people after finding him in bed with another woman, according to the Daily Mail.

The caller said Crystal had admitted to putting the body of the other woman in a wheelbarrow and rolling it out to a burn pile in the backyard of her home.

Authorities have since identified the couple as 39-year-old Geoffrey Gilliland and 33-year-old Stephanie Sanchez, The Charlotte Observer reports.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

When investigators arrived at the house, they found three naked bodies in a bedroom. All three victims had been shot.

Gilliland and Sanchez had reportedly been living in a hotel prior to the incident.

“These are people that met, had interaction and then came together,” Gaston County Police Capt. Curtis Rosselle told the Gaston Gazette, according to The Charlotte Observer. "And then the third party did not like it and took action."

Crystal has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths.

Police are now trying to figure out how the couple met Giovanni.

“What we are trying to resolve now or find out is how these three people came together, how they knew each other, and that is being done through phone records and computers,” Rosselle told WBTV.

Crystal reportedly filed for divorce in 2009, filing a temporary restraining order and requesting custody of their child, but the case was later dismissed.

Crystal appeared in court on March 1. Her next court appearance is scheduled for March 21. The District Attorney’s Office reportedly trusts the grand jury will indict Crystal.
